Plans and billing

Smile Hosting has three ready-made plans - Starter, Growth and Power - and a Custom plan you build yourself. Each plan sets how many server slots you get and how much RAM and storage each server can use.

Current prices and limits are always on the Plans page.

Which plan?

• Starter - a couple of small bots or sites. Includes server sharing and a public address for Website servers.
• Growth - more servers and room, plus priority support, automated backups and your own domain for websites.
• Power - for busy services. Adds the Discord integration and the AI server assistant.
• Custom - drag the sliders for RAM, storage and server slots, and add Priority support, Automated backups or a Custom domain if you want them (a custom domain is included once your custom plan costs £5 a month or more). The price updates as you go.

Buy or change a plan

1. Go to the Plans page and pick a plan.
2. At checkout you can:
   • tick Use my account balance to spend credit you already have, and
   • enter a Gift card code and click Apply.
3. Click Confirm & activate. Anything still owed is charged securely through Stripe, and your plan is active straight away.

Sales

Sometimes plans are on sale for a limited time. The Plans page shows the sale price next to the usual one crossed out, and checkout shows the saving. Each sale says how long you keep the lower price:

• first payment only: your first month, year or prepaid months at the sale price, then the usual price
• every payment: the sale price for as long as you stay subscribed

See and manage your plan

On your dashboard, Billing shows your plan, price, server slots, limits and Next payment.

• Cancel subscription stops your plan renewing. It stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for; Resubscribe before then to keep it going.
• To change the card you pay with, or see past invoices, go to Account > Payment methods & billing and click Manage billing. This opens Stripe - we never see your card details.

Once a cancelled plan runs out, your account no longer has a plan. Download anything important from your servers before then, and pick a plan again whenever you want to carry on.
