AI server assistant

When your server crashes and the error doesn’t make sense, the AI server assistant can have a look for you. It’s available on the Power plan and above.

How it works

1. Open the server and go to the AI tab.
2. Click Diagnose & Fix.
3. The assistant reads your server’s recent console output, looks at the files involved, and works out what went wrong.
4. It shows you a Proposed fix - exactly which files it wants to change and how.
5. Read it. Click Apply this fix to make the changes, or Discard to throw them away.

Opmerking

Nothing is changed until you click Apply this fix. You always see the change first.

Getting the best out of it

• Reproduce the problem first. Start the server and let it fail, so the error is in the recent console output for the assistant to read.
• Check the fix makes sense before applying it - the assistant can be wrong, especially about your own code’s intentions.
• Restart afterwards. Applying a fix changes files; press Restart on the Console tab so your app picks up the change.
• Keep a copy. If you’re about to let it change a file you care about, download that file first from the Files tab.

If the assistant can’t find the problem, open a ticket and paste the error from your console.
